Options
When
Smart MP3 CD Burner loads, the program searches for available CD
Recording drives on your system. By default, the first found drive
is selected as the default drive to use.
You can
change this at any time if you have more than one CD Recording drive
on your system, by selecting the "Options" from "Preferences"
menu.
Use burn-proof
Burn-Proof
Mode allows to create a CD with the chance of an error becoming
extremely remote. Most newer drives support this technology allowing
you to create your CD easily and eliminating most errors and buffer
under-runs.if Easy Audio CD Burner can detect that the selected
drive is not Burn-Proof Mode capable, this option will be dimmed.
Cache
audio track information during burning
If your
CD drive is older or has a slower burn speed, then you may wish
to use this option. This option should always be used if you are
using files from over a network to ensure no problems with the read
and write buffers during CD burning.
The option
requires more hard drive space and will slow down creation of the
CD. We suggest you use this option if you are having CD burning
problems or buffer problems, otherwise, you can leave this option
off to increase CD burning time.
When
Copying Track Information To Clipboard
If you
wish to copy the current layout track information to clipboard and
edit them, you can check them which you want to copy to the clipboard

5.Burning
a CD does not finish. What can I do?
One of
the most common problems is that the computer can't keep up with
the CD recorder. The CD-recorder needs a constant stream of data
from the computer. If it is interrupted too long, the burn will
fail! Try lowering your recording speed . Make sure to not use any
other programs at the same time. Disable your task tray/virus programs!
De-fragment your hard drive. Always do a test! You may need to disable
Auto Insert Notification (AIN). Under Windows 95/98/ME/XP/NT/2000
make sure that the following settings are enabled/disabled for all
CD writers on your system (CD Writers):
Windows

Open 'Control Panel' and click on 'System'.
Select 'Device Manager' tab.
Click on the CD-Rom icon
For every CD device in the list, do the following:
Select the Device.
Select 'Settings'.
Enable 'Disconnect'.
Enable 'Sync Data Transfer'.
Disable 'Auto Insert Notification'.
Enable 'DMA' (if available).
Click on 'OK'.
Reboot the system for settings to take effect.

you must currently have Administrative rights (This will be rectified
in a future version.)
Set the following registry value to disable Auto-Insert Notification:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Services/Cdrom/Autorun=0
Rebooting the system is advisable, but not required.
Make sure that your IDE/ATAPI drivers for your motherboard are updated.
Some motherboards have an issue sending data to a CDR/DVD if these
drivers are not updated. If you have a writing problem, this is
one of the first things you should check. Device Manager - IDE ATA/ATAPI
Controllers. Having updated drivers is very important.
