| Tell you step by step
1. Select radio button 'C' to select convert AVI to SVCD
mode.
2. Click button 'K' to open your AVI file. If your AVI can
be decoded, the video will display in the input preview area
'j', and the output preview area 'S' will show you the
output video. The output resolution
will be auto-selected according to your input video
format(NTSC/PAL), you can see it at 'T' & 'U'. And there
is a white box in the output area. That is the real output
size according to the resolution.
3.
You can select Fixed 'Q' or Proportional 'R' to handle your
output video size. Or you don't care that, use the default
setting.
- Select
Proportional to do a proportional resize of the input frames
(either larger or smaller) to the output resolution.
- Select Crop to crop
the input frames to the output resolution. If the input
frame is larger than the output resolution it will be cropped
to the rectangle specified by the Crop frame option's left
and top coordinates and the MPEG output width and height
(Crop left, Crop Top to Crop Left + MPEG Width, Crop Top
+ MPEG Height). If the input frame is smaller than the output
resolution (width, height or both), the frame will be centered
in a black frame the size of the output resolution. If one
of the dimensions is larger and the other smaller than the
output resolution, the larger dimension will be cropped
while the smaller dimension is centered.
4. If you want to change the output file name. You can click
button 'P'. Or you don't change that, use the default setting.
5. Click button 'W' to start the conversion task. Then you
