This is the most popular setting. If you are creating WAVE files
so that you can burn them on custom CD compilations, choose this option.
It will ensure that any non-CD quality format WAVE files and MP3 files
are converted to CD quality compatible WAVE files. CD quality format
WAVE files are 44,100 Hz, 16 bits, stereo. |

When burning audio CDs, it is important that the WAV files being used fit into CD Block Boundaries. In some cases, with some CD players, small pops of static can occur when starting playback of certain tracks if the tracks do not start on CD Block Boundaries. Note that this will add a little extra silence to the track. However, in the worst-case scenario, this will not be any longer than 1/72th of a second! |

This option should be used if you want to edit or manipulate the
resultant WAVE files in your favorite sound editor. (Many sound editors
will not work directly on MP3 files!) ? For example, if you have a 64
kbps MP3 file and you are converting to best suited WAVE file, having
this option will create a WAVE file that is 22,050 hz, 16 bits, stereo.
This is 1/2 the size of a CD quality format WAVE file, but the quality
of the actual sound would be the same.
If you need to burn these WAVE files on a CD, choose "CD
quality format".
