MP3 Cutter Joiner supports batch cutting, the cutting is carried out according to your start-time and end-time and after the cutting, there will be newly created MP3 or WAV or WMA or OGG files. You can add any file in those four format, but the created files will in the same format you have chose and with the same parameters you have set, MP3 Cutter Joiner will convert those files when cutting.

To cut a small file from one large file, please do as below:
1. Click "Add" button and add the files you want to edit. Multi-add is supported. You can add more than one file by pressing the Ctrl key while clicking the files or pressing the Shift key and using the arrows to select a range of files.
2. Click "Del" button to remove the selected files from the filelist, not from your computer. To clear the filelist, click right-mouse and click "Clear" on the pop-menu. The files is just remove from the filelist, not from from your computer.
3. Choose the output file's format. To modify the parameters, click "Set" button. If it is the first time you use MP3 Cutter Joiner, default settings will be used.
4. Set the start-time and end-time. After adding to filelist, the default start-time is "00:00:00" and end-time is the length of the file. To change the start-time and end-time, click on the file you want to cut, then drag or click to change the time. Time ahead of trackbar is the current time of file. When dragging trackbar, time ahead of trackbar will change accordingly. You can click "<<" or ">>" to fine tune the time, the precision is 250ms. To set current time to start-time, just click "Set start-time" - a clock pointing to 12, and to set current time to end-time, click "Set end-time" - a clock pointing to 3. You can also set start-time/end-time by listening to the song. Just click on the file to select it, then click "Play" button, when get to the time you want to set to start-time/end-time, click "Set start-time"/"Set end-time". Trackbar is enabled for playing and you can change play-position by dragging trackbar.
5. Set start-time and end-time for other files as step 4. You can set various start-time and end-time for the files in filelist.
6. Click "Cut" button and all the files in filelist will be cut one by one, depending on the start-time and end-time you have set for each file.
7. "Stop" button is useful both for playing and for joining. You can cancel the cutting by click Stop button any time during cutting.
