Write ID3 Tags From Filename

 

 

 

Select one or more files from the Mp3 list and select Write ID3 Tags From Filename.

You can select as many files from the Mp3 list as you want.

 

This option will write ID3 tags using information from the filename.

 

You can also use custom tags formula for writing ID3 tags from files using formula symbols such as %1 - %2.

Options

 

• Case – select from capitalize, lowercase or uppercase

 

• Replace underscores with spaces – will replace underscore character with the space character

 

• Write Options
• Don’t change tags
• Replace tag only if tag is blank
• Replace all tags

 

• Write ID3 Tags
• ID3v1 tags
• ID3v2 tags

 

• Custom Tags

%1 – Artist

%2 – Title

%3 – Album

%4 – Track number

%5 – Year

%6 – Genre

 

 

Notes

 

If you choose preview mode you can see all changes before they are actually made.
