Rename files using ID3 Tags

 

 

Select one or more files from the Mp3 list and select Rename files using ID3 Tags.

You can select as many files from the Mp3 list as you want.

 

This option will rename files on your media using information from the ID3 tags.

You can also use custom tags formula for renaming files using formula symbols such as %1 - %2.

Options

 

• Tag Fields - you can select one of the combination that is entered.

 

• Filename Modification
• Do Nothing
• Replace spaces with underscores
• Replace underscores with spaces
• Remove spaces

 

• Rename Options
• Use ID3v1 tags – use information from ID3v1 tag when renaming the file
• Use ID3v2 tags - use information from ID3v2 tag when renaming the file

 

 

• Custom Tags

%1 – Artist

%2 – Title

%3 – Album

%4 – Track number

%5 – Year

%6 – Genre

If you choose preview mode you can see all changes before they are actually made.
