• Lame Expert Options Window

This is combined expert mode of the Lame mp3 encoder plugin. You can use this window to setup most of the Lame options.

This window has 3 parts:

• General
• Advanced
• VBR

General:

Set preset, samplerate, bitrate and mode here.

Preset:

Use built-in preset, you can set this option to get this best quality without setup too many options.

Samplerate:

Set the samplerate of the output mp3 files.

Bitrate:

Set the constant bitrate of the output mp3 files or the min bitrate of the VBR.

Mode:

Set the channel mode of the lame encoder.

Advanced:

Quality:

Algorithm quality selection.

CRC-Checksums:

Turn on CRC error protection.

Copyright:

Mark the encoded file as being copyrighted.

Private:

Mark as private mp3.

Original:

Mark the encoded file as being a original.

ISO MPEG:

Strict ISO compliance.

Disable Bit Reservoir:

Disable the bit reservoir. Each frame will then become independent from previous ones, but the quality will be lower.

VBR:

Used to turn on the VBR of Lame encoder.

Current Bitrate:

The max bitrate of the VBR.

VBR Method:

Choose the VBR method.

Quality:

Specifies the value of VBR quality.

Use ABR:

Turns on encoding with a targeted average bitrate of n kbits.
